Today is my last day at my longest job ever. I just couldn’t do these shifts anymore. I have worked doubles and overnights and every weekend and just fuckery for nearly two years. I’m only 23. UNCOOL. I’ve finally got the balls to just say “no more” and have faith that I will find better rather than fear of instability. Better has kina sorta already found me (YAY). I feel so relieved and I can’t wait until that final clock out at 3:30. You guys have no idea the weight removed. Now I can bang out the end of this semester with some energy. Best class right now: Statistics for Behavioral Sciences (Psychology), who woulda thunk it?! I just may be on that right path to researching my life away. I was sick for 3 weeks, came back and got an A+ on my last exam. I nearly dropped Delroy (my laptop) when I checked the grades. I’m grateful. I can taste that BA. In other news, I love the task of designing my room. Its been nearly two months shockingly since I began this endeavor and I’m just glad I get to put my interior design appreciation to good use. Oh yea i gotta lose a few by the 3rd. Impromptu minivacay to miami has caught me a lil too fluffly in the waistline. =( I am super excited about seeing Ocean Drive again though and I sooo need the time away. Its been a minute since I had a ladies fun time for debauchery. =) To prepare, I’m atkins induction phasing the mess out of these next few days. All the shifts that I would have been spending at this damn job, I will be instead clocking in at the gym. I’ve heard amazing things about the low carb power. I’m looking for a quick fix, yes, but I am also looking to have some long term weight loss so I won’t just bounce back to the bad habits post Miami. Any tips to get me beach right? or navigating the Atkins?

This year, there were some bleak realizations in nearly all my major relationships including within myself. I am learning so much and I was worried for a bit that these discoveries which became changes would cast a shadow on the rest of my year but, that honestly couldn’t be farther from the truth. Good things are happening. I’m going to start I am projecting my ideal reality into the universe. I feel mad ready, excited. It’s 3:02 pm. AAAAHHHHHHHH

Homeless man praying with young boys at the corner of Flatbush and Fulton St, Brooklyn. At first the boys were apprehensive about holding his hand in prayer but eventually they all joined hands. It was a humanizing experience.
